Born and raised in Acworth, Georgia, Dr. Savanna Milberger has always been passionate about helping animals live healthier, happier lives. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Berry College before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia.

Today, Dr. Milberger cares for dogs at Good Dog Veterinary Care Smyrna, where she combines evidence-based medicine with a thoughtful, whole-patient approach. She believes every dog deserves individualized care that considers not only their current medical condition, but also their long-term health, behavior, nutrition, and overall well-being.

Her primary professional interest is soft tissue surgery. She also enjoys nutrition, dentistry, and animal behavior, helping families better understand how preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices can improve their dog's quality of life.

Dr. Milberger continues expanding her knowledge through continuing education in nutrition and advanced ultrasound training. As a Fear Free Certified Professional, she incorporates low-stress handling and cooperative care techniques to help every dog feel safe, comfortable, and supported during their visit.

Her approach to veterinary medicine is centered on building strong relationships with both dogs and their families.
