Dr. Samantha Warner is a proud Cobb County native who is thrilled to be back home serving the community where she grew up. She earned undergraduate degrees in Biological Sciences and Avian Biology before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University.

After veterinary school, Dr. Warner served for seven years as an Army Veterinary Corps Officer, providing medical care for Military Working Dogs while stationed in England, Turkey, and Guam. That experience shaped her passion for canine sports medicine, emergency medicine, rehabilitation, and behavior, and continues to influence the compassionate, low-stress approach she brings to every patient she treats.

Today, Dr. Warner cares for dogs at Good Dog Veterinary Care West Cobb, where her primary professional interest is canine sports medicine. She also enjoys emergency medicine, behavior and training, and rehabilitation, helping active dogs, working dogs, and family companions recover from injuries, build confidence, and enjoy the highest possible quality of life.

Dr. Warner continues expanding her expertise through advanced training in rehabilitation, tactical veterinary medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, and canine joint injections. She believes every dog deserves an individualized approach and works to create a calm, trusting environment where both dogs and their families feel comfortable and supported.

Her approach to veterinary medicine is centered on building strong relationships with both dogs and their families.

"I like to get down on the floor with just about every dog. This helps reduce their stress and builds trust between us. Most dogs are much more comfortable staying on the floor, so I meet them where they're at."
