Growing up in Sandy Springs, Georgia, Dr. Ries Reinstein developed a passion for veterinary medicine at an early age. She is a proud "Double Dawg," having earned both her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia.

Today, she serves as Lead Veterinarian at Good Dog Veterinary Care Smyrna, where she is honored to care for dogs through every stage of life. She is dedicated to helping dogs live long, healthy, and comfortable lives through preventive care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and personalized treatment plans.

Her primary professional interest is dentistry. She also enjoys soft tissue surgery, wound management, oncology, and diagnostic ultrasound. She appreciates helping dogs maintain a healthy mouth, relieve pain, and improve their overall quality of life through both preventive and surgical dental care.

Dr. Reinstein has completed advanced ultrasound training through Insight and Core Imaging and enjoys using ultrasound as an additional diagnostic tool to evaluate internal conditions and help guide treatment recommendations.

Her approach to veterinary medicine is centered on building strong relationships with both dogs and their families.
