Dr. Cierra Dunham has always been passionate about veterinary medicine and is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care for every dog she treats. She believes that building trust with both dogs and their families is the foundation of exceptional veterinary care.
She earned undergraduate degrees in Avian Biology and Biological Sciences before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Today, she cares for patients at Good Dog Veterinary Care's West Cobb and Smyrna locations, where she enjoys helping dogs live healthier, more comfortable lives through preventive care, diagnostic imaging, surgery, and client education.
Her primary professional interest is soft tissue surgery. She also enjoys emergency medicine and client education, helping families better understand their dog's condition and treatment options while providing timely, compassionate care.
"I enjoy building strong relationships with my patients and their families through open communication and a collaborative approach to providing the best care for every Good Dog."
Whether treating an emergency, performing surgery, or answering questions during a routine visit, Dr. Dunham believes open communication and trust are essential to achieving the best possible outcome for every Good Dog.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Dunham enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, spending time outdoors, and cheering on Georgia football. She also loves spending time with her Doberman, Aurora, and is always learning something new, whether it's perfecting latte art or playing the harmonica.
